Midwest Croquet Association Transitions to Mallet Series One LLC

The Midwest Croquet Association (MCA) has formally concluded its operations, with its assets and Series Tour activities transitioning to Mallet Series One LLC.

The decision was approved by a majority vote of the MCA Board of Directors following a review of the organization’s structure and operational needs. The transition is intended to simplify administration and ensure the continued operation of the Mallet Series Tour.

Under this transition, Mallet Series One LLC assumes responsibility for the organization and administration of the Series Tour, including scheduling, standings, and event coordination.

Continuation of the Series Tour

The Series Tour will continue without interruption, with events planned for the 2026 season already in development. The 2026 schedule currently includes:

  • The US Golf Croquet Classic, June 12–14 in Denver

  • Pending announcement for another midwestern event in May

The Missouri Open will not be part of the 2026 Mallet Series Tour as the event location used the past two seasons is no longer available. The Missouri Open is continuing as a club event for the Kansas City Croquet Club.

Mallet Series Branding

As part of the transition, the Mallet Series Tour will move forward under the Mallet Series identity, which will serve as the official brand for competition and standings.

The existing MidwestCroquet.com website will continue to operate as the official home of the Mallet Series Tour, with updates to reflect the new branding over time.

Assets and Historical Records

All MCA operational assets, including tournament equipment, trophies, records, and digital properties, have transferred to Mallet Series One LLC to support the continued operation of the Series Tour. This includes the MCA Pro Cup trophy, which will remain the championship award for the top division of the Mallet Series Tour. Historical results, standings and records will continue to be maintained and accessible.

Looking Ahead

The transition to Mallet Series One LLC provides a streamlined structure for the continued development of the Mallet Series Tour. The focus remains on supporting competitive play, expanding event participation, and maintaining a consistent tour structure for players and clubs. Further updates on the 2026 season and Mallet Series Tour format will be announced in the coming weeks.
